As a seasoned gamer and Marvel enthusiast with over two decades of fandom under my belt, I can confidently say that the release of the Hawkeye collector’s edition 4K UHD Blu-ray is like receiving an early Christmas present. The show’s holiday setting and the camaraderie between Clint Barton and Kate Bishop made it a delightful watch, and this exclusive deleted scene only serves to enhance that experience.
This festive season, Disney has rolled out a unique opportunity for Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) enthusiasts to enjoy one of their top shows, which happens to be set during Christmas – ‘Hawkeye’. The latest addition to the Disney+ series lineup is now available in a collector’s edition 4K UHD Blu-ray. As this home release hits stores today, TopMob joins the holiday cheer by offering an exclusive peek at a deleted scene from Hawkeye on Blu-ray. In this bonus feature, we find Clint Barton (a familiar face) and Kate Bishop (less well-known) shopping for arrows and boomerangs, adding a touch of humor to their Christmas shopping spree.
In this delightful extra from the latest 4K UHD Blu-ray edition of “Hawkeye”, our beloved sharpshooter duo, Jeremy Renner’s Clint Barton and Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop, make an appearance. This scene finds them visiting a massive retail store to buy every single arrow available. This task turns out to be lengthier (and more frustrating) than the renowned Avenger would prefer, especially when the cashier becomes overly enthusiastic.
To put it in my own words as a gamer, even though I admire Hawkeye a lot, Kate’s persistent attempts to establish herself as his partner seem to fall flat.
In this terrific scene, what really works is the final joke. It concludes with Kate expressing her reluctance to abandon her concept for a “boomerang arrow.” This is a nod back to an earlier episode where they debated the advantages of such an unconventional arrow. It was also a clever Easter egg, as in Marvel Comics, Clint has been known to employ boomerang arrows with great enthusiasm. The MCU version, however, has given these characters a different take on such an apparently preposterous weapon, which we found quite enjoyable.
We love these two. That cashier might only love Hawkeye, but we love both of them. Just like we love home releases of our favorite shows. Especially ones that include great deleted scenes.
Exciting news here, folks! As a diehard fan, I can’t contain my excitement about the upcoming releases. For the very first time, Loki Season Two, Hawkeye Season One, Ahsoka Season One, and The Mandalorian Season Three will be available on 4K UHD Blu-ray on December 3! Mark your calendars, fellow enthusiasts, because we’re in for a visual treat!
