Hasbro is exciting Transformers fans once more with a new collaboration! This time, the popular toys are crossing over with the world of Stranger Things. They’ve revealed a first glimpse of the collection, introducing two new characters named Freakwency and 8-Trax.

These new Transformers toys are connected to the upcoming final season of Stranger Things. Freakwency is a robot modeled after the van driven by Eleven and her friends, and 8-Trax is a special Transformer that changes between an 8-track tape player and a hawk. Hasbro says Freakwency transforms into van mode with 16 steps, and 8-Trax transforms with 8 steps. As a neat feature, the tape version of 8-Trax can actually fit inside Freakwency’s chest.
This set includes a cool accessory: Freakwency’s blaster, which cleverly turns into a rubber chicken! The Transformers x Stranger Things Freakwency and 8-Trax set costs $57.99 and will be sold exclusively at Target. You can start pre-ordering today on Target’s website.
This partnership between Hasbro and Stranger Things is a particularly unique combination. Both Transformers and Stranger Things fans should enjoy the figures’ imaginative designs and careful attention to detail.
