In her subsequent remarks, Miriam Margolyes mentioned that she relies on a pair of canes, a walker, which she found somewhat dull, and a mobility scooter, which she described as quite enjoyable.
During conversation with the store regarding her scooter, the actress from Call the Midwife remarked, “It’s just like getting a brand-new toy.” She went on to explain how it makes shopping effortless due to its ease of use and the convenience of having a basket attached for carrying items.
Last week, during an interview with Radio Times, the actress expressed her concern about not having sufficient funds to cover her care needs should she ever become paralyzed or face other health issues in the future.
Therefore, she mentioned that she’s setting aside funds for potential healthcare professionals who may care for her in the future.
