Harrison Ford’s Returning Dramedy Is on Top of Apple TV+’s Top 10 Most-Watched Series of the Week List

Apple TV+ is continuing to attract a lot of viewers with its original shows and movies. Recent data shows people are enjoying both popular, award-winning series and exciting new science fiction programs. Currently, shows ranging from intense spy thrillers to dramas about the challenges faced by therapists are the most popular on the platform.

‘The Studio’ (2025– )

‘The Studio’ is a new comedy series starring Seth Rogen that takes a look behind the scenes at a long-established Hollywood movie studio. The show follows a group of studio executives as they deal with office politics, big personalities, and the constant changes happening in the film industry. Seth Rogen also directed and executive produced the series with Evan Goldberg. It’s a major project resulting from a partnership between Point Grey Pictures and Apple TV+.

‘Palm Royale’ (2024– )

‘Palm Royale’ is a new series set in 1969 that tells the story of Maxine Simmons and her efforts to join the glamorous world of Palm Beach high society. The show explores how far one woman will go to climb the social ladder, and features a talented cast including Kristen Wiig, Allison Janney, and Ricky Martin. It’s based on the novel ‘Mr. & Mrs. American Pie’ by Juliet McDaniel.

‘Drops of God’ (2023)

‘Drops of God’ is a series inspired by a famous Japanese manga, diving into the sophisticated world of wine and wine tasting competitions. Following the death of a renowned wine expert, his daughter and a former student go head-to-head to inherit his vast wine collection and fortune. They compete through challenging taste tests and sensory evaluations, putting their wine knowledge to the ultimate test. Filmed in France, Italy, and Japan, the series features a diverse, international perspective.

‘The Morning Show’ (2019– )

‘The Morning Show’ takes you behind the scenes of the competitive world of morning television, focusing on the personal and professional lives of those who deliver the news. Starring Jennifer Aniston and Reese Witherspoon, the show follows journalists dealing with a major scandal and changing leadership at their network. ‘Severance’ (2022– )

I’m completely hooked on ‘Severance’! It follows Mark Scout, who works at this strange company called Lumon Industries. They have this procedure where your memories are split – you have no recollection of your personal life while at work, and vice versa. It’s wild! Things really start to get interesting when Mark gets caught up in a huge mystery that starts to unravel everything. The show really makes you think about how far companies will go and what it even means to have a life outside of work. Plus, it’s directed by Ben Stiller and has this really cool, clean visual style that I love.

‘Pluribus’ (2025– )

‘Pluribus’ is a new American science fiction series created by Vince Gilligan and filmed mostly in Albuquerque, New Mexico. It’s set in a post-apocalyptic world where most of humanity has been changed by an alien virus into a single, peaceful collective consciousness. The story centers on Carol Sturka, a novelist played by Rhea Seehorn, who is one of the few people unaffected by the virus and remains isolated. This collective mind wants to bring her and others like her into the fold. The series is especially exciting because it reunites Gilligan and Seehorn, who have worked together before.

‘Ted Lasso’ (2020–2023)

I absolutely loved ‘Ted Lasso’! It’s about an American football coach who takes on the challenge of managing a professional soccer team in England, even though he knows next to nothing about the sport. Jason Sudeikis is brilliant as Ted, and what’s so great is how his unwavering positivity and genuine kindness slowly win over everyone around him, even the really skeptical players and staff. It’s not just a sports show though; it really dives deep into the characters and feels incredibly emotionally impactful. It totally took the world by storm, and deservedly won the Emmy for best comedy series two years in a row!

‘Tehran’ (2020– )

‘Tehran’ is a thrilling Israeli spy series about Tamar Rabinyan, a Mossad agent and skilled hacker sent on a perilous mission to Tehran. After her attempt to sabotage a nuclear reactor goes wrong, she’s forced to go into hiding to stay alive and safeguard her contacts. The show offers a tense look at the complex political situation in the region through the world of international espionage. Notably, ‘Tehran’ made history as the first non-English language series to win the International Emmy for Best Drama.

‘Hijack’ (2023– )

Idris Elba plays Sam Nelson in ‘Hijack,’ a thrilling series about a skilled negotiator on a plane that’s been taken over by hijackers. The story happens in real-time during the seven-hour flight, showing the intense situation for those on board and the people working to help on the ground. While authorities try to figure out what’s happening, Nelson uses his expertise to attempt a rescue, hoping to de-escalate the situation and save everyone. ‘Shrinking’ (2023– )

‘Shrinking’ stars Jason Segel as a therapist struggling with grief who starts being brutally honest with his patients. This unusual method dramatically impacts both their lives and his own. Harrison Ford plays a more experienced therapist who guides Segel’s character while facing personal health issues. The show was created by Jason Segel, along with Bill Lawrence and Brett Goldstein, who are also known for their work on ‘Ted Lasso’.
