Her fire alarm incessantly blares as she attempts to sleep, leaving her baffled about how to turn it off. Even after dismantling it, the noise continues, leading her to toss it into her building’s waste chute. However, Phoebe encounters a local firefighter due to the illegality of discarding a smoke detector. This situation is particularly funny because everyone can identify with the frustration of annoying fire alarms that often cause more inconvenience than they prevent.

1. Joey informs his friends he needs to practice French for an upcoming audition. Phoebe offers assistance since she’s proficient in French.
