However, it’s under Holt’s guidance that Jake truly shines. Over time, their bond evolves into a heartwarming mentor-mentee relationship.
In one recent episode of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Jake inadvertently referred to Captain Holt as “dad.” This slip-up sparked a series of amusing jabs, such as Terry advising him to show respect towards his father figure. It’s hard to find a flaw in his reasoning because, logically speaking, all of the blood should remain within the body.
