Hans Zimmer, the renowned composer, will create the music for the new Harry Potter TV series on HBO, working with his production company, Bleeding Fingers Music.
Hans Zimmer shared the news on social media, using a quote from Albus Dumbledore: “Ah, music. A magic beyond all we do here!”

Zimmer Comments on the Score
Hans Zimmer is teaming up with composers Kara Talve and Anže Rozman from Bleeding Fingers Music to create new music for the show.
As a big fan, I was really interested to hear what the composers had to say about taking on this franchise. They put out a statement explaining how they thought about its history and what they were aiming for with their new music. It was cool to get their perspective on building on something so established!
We’re incredibly honored to contribute to the musical world of Harry Potter, which has inspired composers all over the globe. It’s a huge project, and Kara Talve, Anže Rozman, and I understand the importance of doing it justice. Our goal with this score is to enhance the magic for audiences while staying true to the original beloved music.
