Here’s the synopsis for this film from Vertical:
When Hamlet returns home for his father’s funeral, he’s shocked to find his uncle has already married his mother. After being visited by his father’s ghost, who reveals he was murdered by his uncle, Hamlet becomes determined to get revenge. This pursuit of vengeance uncovers corruption within the royal family and pushes Hamlet to the brink of madness.
The new trailer for Hamlet is visually stunning, and Riz Ahmed delivers, as always, a fantastic performance. The film also features Morfydd Clark, Joe Alwyn, Sheeba Chaddha, Avijit Dutt, Art Malik, and Timothy Spall. Aneil Kari directed the movie, with a screenplay by Michael Lesslie.
Vertical will bring Hamlet to theaters on April 10.
