The Hallmark Channel and Walt Disney World are teaming up for a brand-new holiday movie – a first-time collaboration for the two companies. Filmed entirely at the Walt Disney World Resort in Florida, the movie is called “Holiday Ever After: A Disney World Wish Come True.” Starring Lacey Chabert and Travis Van Winkle, the film also features Richard Kind, Christy Carlson Romano, Taegen Burns, Asher Alexander, and a special appearance by Patrick Renna.
Hallmark announced a new Christmas movie during a special event called “The Hallmark Christmas Experience: A Hometown Holiday.” The movie will air as part of their 2026 Countdown to Christmas programming, and Ryan Landels is both writing and directing it.

I just love this movie! It’s about Lindsey, played by Kimberly Williams-Paisley, and her family’s Christmas trip to Disney World. Things get really interesting—and a little awkward—when she finds out Philip, a guy she had a terrible date with, is staying right next door to her! It’s such a fun setup.
The story follows two people who initially clash, but their repeated encounters gradually shift their feelings for each other. A wish Lindsey made at Cinderella Fountain in Walt Disney World hints that their competitive relationship could blossom into something more romantic.
Darren Abbott, Hallmark’s head of branding, explained the long-standing relationship between the two companies.
Hallmark and Disney have a long history together, starting decades ago in Kansas City. A friendship between Hallmark’s founder, J.C. Hall, and Walt Disney led to their first collaboration: licensed products, including the very first Mickey Mouse greeting card. According to Abbott, Hallmark is thrilled to now share this story on screen.
As a huge fan of both Disney and Hallmark, I was so excited to hear about this new movie! Sally Conner from Disney explained it perfectly – both companies are all about great storytelling, and there’s something extra special about that during the holidays. She said Walt Disney World will be the actual setting for the film, and it’s going to really capture that joyful, festive feeling so many of us experience when we visit the parks. It sounds magical!
Next holiday season, Hallmark and Disney will release merchandise related to the movie, such as cards, ornaments, gifts, and wrapping paper.
