The actress from Monster’s Ball, who just turned 59, wrote in the caption, “Whew…! cooking, cleaning, and mothering,” which was a stark contrast to the tranquil atmosphere portrayed in the post.

In the recent All the Smoke Podcast episode, Justice opened up about his partner expectations, stating, “At the time, my understanding of relationships was quite limited. So, drawing from my own background as a Midwesterner, I envisioned a wife as someone responsible for cooking, cleaning, and maintaining traditional roles.

In terms of the romance between the actress and Justice, they became engaged in 1993, having dated only for a short while prior, and eventually married. Unfortunately, their relationship encountered difficulties, leading to their separation in 1996. They officially divorced in 1997.

The Oscar-winning actor did not explain the cause of their split, but later on his podcast, Justice expressed his thoughts: “Suppose we were to have children together. Is this the woman I want to raise a family with? At that point in time, as a young man, she didn’t cook, clean, or appear particularly motherly, and then we encountered problems.

Earlier, the actress shared details about an incident where she was attacked by an ex-partner, causing her eardrum to burst. Yet, she has not disclosed the identity of this individual.

Currently, the actress is in a relationship with Van Hunt. The pair have been dating since 2020.
