There’s a good chance she might not be truthful, or perhaps she hasn’t finalized her contract yet. Just like how Andrew Garfield kept denying his role in “Spider-Man: No Way Home” before it was officially announced. Marvel Studios are quite secretive about their big reveals, even if there are occasional leaks like Patrick Stewart’s slip-ups. And Halle Berry’s reaction to a certain question makes us curious whether there’s more to the story. In the Marvel universe, straightforward denials don’t carry much weight anymore.
If Halle Berry, Famke Janssen, and Anna Paquin don’t appear in this X-Men cast reunion for Doomsday, it seems to be a significant oversight in providing a fitting farewell to the original cast. Moreover, having more female characters in an otherwise male-dominated cast could have added depth and diversity. With Channing Tatum joining as Gambit, they could have recreated the X-Men: The Animated Series lineup, potentially even donning costumes reminiscent of that era. This could have created a memorable moment in nerd culture history. Additionally, who wouldn’t be excited to witness a Storm versus Thor lightning battle? We can only hope Halle Berry is playing coy and we’ll see a surprise appearance from her character. However, at this point, it appears that Storm won’t feature in Doomsday.
