As a long-time fan of the Marvel Universe, I can’t help but feel a sense of nostalgia when reflecting on Halle Berry‘s portrayal of Storm. Having watched her bring the iconic character to life for over a decade, it’s hard not to be hopeful about her potential return.
Following the debut of “Deadpool & Wolverine,” numerous classic Marvel characters have reappeared on the big screen and some have concluded their initial narratives. Although the future seems bright for Deadpool and Wolverine, others like Channing Tatum’s Gambit are yet to embark on potential film projects. Regrettably, there are several characters that fans eagerly anticipated but never graced our movie screens.
A significant instance is Halle Berry, who played Storm from the year 2000 to 2014, starting with the movie “X-Men” and ending with “X-Men: Days of Future Past.
Later on, Berry herself disclosed that she had been eager to take part in a brief role and had even shared this intention with Blake Lively, who is Reynolds’ wife. Yet, it appears that Reynolds never contacted her regarding the opportunity. Some fans have suggested that this could possibly be linked to Wesley Snipes reprising his role as Blade.
Despite speculation, the actress from “Never Let Go” hasn’t rejected the idea of reprising her role. At the premiere of the film, when questioned about potentially playing Storm again, she didn’t shut down the possibility.
I don’t know if I’m coming back. Maybe one day, we’ll see.”
Halle Berry hints at a potential return as Storm in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, saying, “I’m not certain yet, but there might be a time when she reappears.

A few days ago, the actress shared a similar sentiment in her conversation with Josh Wildling:
Josh: You weren’t present in ‘Deadpool & Wolverine,’ but it seems that the X-Men might appear in ‘Avengers: Doomsday’ or ‘Secret Wars.’ Could there be a Storm gathering for these films, maybe?
Berry: You never know! We’ll find out!
Berry could potentially play her character twice more: first, possibly in the eagerly awaited “Avengers: Secret Wars”, which supposedly brings together numerous characters from past Marvel films, and second, in the imminent live-action revival of the X-Men series.
