Alaia Baldwin Aronow, Hailey Bieber’s sister, is facing potential jail time after being charged in connection with a disturbance at a Georgia bar. Prosecutors filed charges against the 33-year-old model on Monday, January 26th, including battery, assault, and trespassing. She could face up to a year in jail if found guilty.

The incident began in February 2024 at Club Elan in Savannah. Police reports state that Aronow was found in a staff-only bathroom and wouldn’t come out when asked. When employees tried to get her to leave, a fight broke out. Prosecutors say Aronow hit a security guard, Jacinto Hills, in the groin and pulled hair from another employee, Ian O’Neill, during the altercation.

The most discussed part of the incident is what’s become known as the “tampon toss.” According to bartender Haleigh Cauley, a woman was asked to leave the bar. Cauley previously explained that the woman said she needed to change her tampon, and when asked again to leave, she actually threw it, hitting Cauley in the face.

Aronow originally claimed she threw the tampon while defending herself during an eviction. Although she initially denied the details, she later told police she did throw it. Her lawyers are optimistic about the outcome of the case. She’s due in court on April 23rd to formally address the four misdemeanor charges against her.
