Gypsy-Rose Blanchard Says She Is ‘Relieved’ Her Kid with Ken Urker Is a Girl; ‘Don’t Know What to Do with a Little Boy’

Gypsy-Rose Blanchard, fresh from motherhood, appears well-equipped for her maternal adventure. In anticipation of Life After Lockup Season 2, she expressed a sense of relief upon welcoming a baby girl into the world.

During an interview with People magazine, Blanchard expressed a sense of comfort since they had a daughter instead of a son, as he wasn’t sure how to care for a baby boy.

She mentioned, “I’m quite feminine myself, so anything related to pink, frills, or similar items – that’s where I feel most knowledgeable.

Blanchard conveyed that, in spite of the complex nature of her personal connection with her mom, she appreciates there’s a unique charm in a mother-daughter relationship. She considers herself fortunate to share this bond with her daughter, an experience she missed out on with her own mother.

The former convict expressed delight in taking on the role of a mother, experiencing for herself what motherhood truly entails.

When questioned about taking any beneficial elements of her relationship with her mother and applying them to her own parenthood, Blanchard acknowledged that her previous experience with her mother rarely comes to mind since she’s now a parent. But when it does, it’s more as a negative reminder rather than something positive.

She conveyed to the media outlet, “I haven’t yet reached a stage where I can confidently respond and indicate if I could influence my relationship with my daughter in any meaningful way.” She also mentioned that there was nothing she could conceive of, describing it as a heartbreaking yet honest truth.
