Gwyneth Paltrow Reveals How Her Son Reacted to Adult Scenes With Timothee Chalamet in Her New Movie

Gwyneth Paltrow’s new movie, Marty Supreme, recently premiered in New York City, and she attended with her children, Apple and Moses. While the premiere was a celebratory event for Paltrow, her 19-year-old son, Moses, reportedly didn’t enjoy certain scenes in the film.

Gwyneth Paltrow shared on Late Night With Seth Meyers that her son, Moses, generally liked the movie, but quickly looked away whenever she had romantic scenes with Timothée Chalamet. Paltrow jokingly described how he kept covering his eyes, saying, “He was like this the whole time… He’s not into that.”

The actress said she’d given Moses a warning about the upcoming scenes. She realized how important it was to give people notice after she hadn’t prepared her grandfather for a nude scene in the movie Shakespeare in Love. Despite her warning, Moses still felt uncomfortable during the scenes.

Despite being only 21, Apple skillfully portrayed the romantic scenes in the movie. However, Gwyneth Paltrow shared that her children generally don’t like watching her films, preferring to see her as their mother in everyday life. Paltrow mentioned that her son, Moses, was particularly embarrassed by the more intimate moments.

I’m really excited about Marty Supreme! It’s a coming-of-age story set in 1950s New York, following a super talented young ping-pong player and his ambitions. And get this – Gwyneth Paltrow is in it! She plays a former movie star who falls for the main character, played by Timothée Chalamet. It’s a big role for her, especially since she’s been focusing on family and Goop for a while now.

Gwyneth Paltrow shared that attending the movie premiere with her kids felt special, as they’re all preparing for college. She also mentioned she’s getting used to having a quieter home now that they’re growing up, and is excited to be acting again.
