Actor Guy Pearce has shared his uneasy encounters with Kevin Spacey during the production of the 1997 film L.A. Confidential. In a recent conversation, Pearce disclosed that Spacey’s actions caused him to feel apprehensive and frightened on set.
Pearce characterized Spacey as “very charismatic and exceptionally talented,” yet also “quite a forceful individual.” For several months, he dismissed Spacey’s advances, thinking, “Oh, that’s nothing important.” Looking back on the situation, Pearce stated, “I was young and open to influence, and he clearly targeted me, there’s no doubt about it.
However, for five months, I followed your pattern of dismissing issues with a casual “That’s nothing,” despite feeling genuinely frightened of Kevin due to his aggressive nature.
