Guillermo del Toro recently shared a series of posts on Twitter about his stay at an old 1800s hotel in Aberdeen, Scotland, where he’s filming Frankenstein. In one post from August 20, he mentioned that the room he was occupying was reportedly the most haunted in the hotel. He added that one of the producers had vacated the same room earlier due to unexplained electrical and physical phenomena that spooked her.

The director pointed out that he would inform about any strange occurrences while he was there. He also shared that he often stays in the hotel’s most ghostly rooms, yet he has encountered something otherworldly just one time.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d like to share my personal experience from last night. After offering fresh insights to my followers, I disclosed that no significant events had transpired yet. The atmosphere in the room seemed heavy, almost stifling, and I found myself reluctant to linger any longer within its confines.

On Thursday, Guillermo del Toro shared that following the day’s filming, he entered a room and perceived something beyond mere feelings. He sensed a strong presence that was both angry and territorial, mentioning a hint of rage. Additionally, he uploaded a photo of himself in the room with the caption, “Attempting to capture an Electronic Voice Phenomenon (EVP) on my phone.”

Currently, Guillermo del Toro is working on a new version of Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein. This movie boasts Oscar Isaac portraying Victor Frankenstein, while Jacob Elordi takes on the role of the monster. Mia Goth, Christoph Waltz, and Felix Kammerer also appear in significant supporting roles.
