It appears that a fresh update for the enhanced version of Grand Theft Auto V might be just around the corner, judging by Nvidia’s latest Game Ready driver announcement.
The latest Nvidia Game Ready Driver, version 580.97, can be downloaded on PCs right now. This new driver introduces Nvidia’s DLSS multi-frame generation technology for several games. Among them are Senua’s Sacrifice: Hellblade 2 Enhanced, which received an update today, and the enhanced version of Grand Theft Auto V.
The enhanced edition of GTA 5, released recently, is an upgraded version of the PC game. This new iteration elevates the visuals to match those seen in the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions, offering ray-traced shadows and reflections, and compatibility with Nvidia’s DLSS and AMD’s FSR for enhanced graphics.
The latest feature introduced with DLSS 4, known as multi-frame generation, was not present. This innovative technology uses machine learning to produce extra frames to increase frame rate artificially, making games appear and feel more responsive. In conjunction with Nvidia Reflex’s latency reduction technologies, multi-frame generation can significantly enhance the gaming experience in demanding titles or achieving higher frame rates. However, it is only accessible on the latest graphics cards from Nvidia, specifically the RTX 50 series.

As a gaming enthusiast, I’m super excited to share some insider info! It seems like we’re on the brink of a major update for GTA 5 Enhanced. If you’ve been keeping an eye on your Nvidia app, you might have noticed the new driver is preparing your system for the Grand Theft Auto V Enhanced’s next-gen upgrade – DLSS4 with Multi Frame Generation! Get ready, gamers, because this update could drop any time now!
Currently, as I’m typing this, there’s no official word yet from Rockstar Games about an update, and no new update seems to be accessible through Steam.
