As a lifestyle expert with a keen eye for observing the balance between personal and professional lives, I must say that Blake Lively is nothing short of extraordinary. Having had the opportunity to work alongside her in the film adaptation of “It Ends With Us,” Isabela Ferrer, who plays the younger version of Lily Bloom, marveled at Lively’s grace and poise. It was not just her on-screen charm that left an impression but also her warm personality that made everyone around her feel comfortable.
In Colleen Hoover’s 2016 novel-turned-movie, Blake Lively portrays Lily Bloom, while Ferrer plays a younger Lily. The film adaptation of “It Ends With Us” premieres in theaters on August 9th, 2024. In addition to these main actors, Jenny Slate, Hasan Minhaj, Justin Baldoni, Brandon Sklenar, and Alex Neustaedter are also part of the cast.
On August 6th at the New York film premiere, Isabela Ferrer expressed her awe for Blake Lively’s gracefulness to People magazine. She stated, “Blake is the most stunning woman I’ve ever encountered in my life. Upon meeting her, she gave me the warmest hug I’ve ever received, and since then, it’s been nothing but warmth, friendship, and a delight.”
In her observation about Lively’s roles as an actress and a mother, Isabela drew a comparison reminiscent of the character Wonder Woman.
Beyond her busy acting and producing careers, as well as managing multiple business ventures, Lively looks after four children. Her husband, Ryan Reynolds, known for his roles in Deadpool and Wolverine, also helps raise their kids – James, Inez, Betty, and Olin. Lively’s ability to juggle everything leaves others in awe. She admires the Gossip Girl star, commenting, “I mean, she is like Wonder Woman; I don’t know how she does it all. It’s amazing.”
As Ferrer suggests, Lively is an extraordinary individual. The actress portraying the younger Lily Bloom articulated her bond with the actress from The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants, “Sharing a role with someone you can connect with is significant, and she’s simply a wonderful person.”
Apart from praising their acting skills, she couldn’t help but express her admiration for the duo Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively. She referred to them as a charming pair who exuded sweetness and beauty whenever they were seen together on or off screen.
In simpler terms, “The story ‘It Ends With Us’ is based on Colleen Hoover’s novel. The main character, Lily, manages to move past her troubled childhood and start anew. A fortuitous encounter with a neurosurgeon leads to a bond, yet as time passes, she recognizes certain characteristics in him that echo her parents’ relationship.”
At the unveiling of this event, I found myself overwhelmed with gratitude for the loved ones by my side – from my cherished husband, Ryan Reynolds, to my adoring mother and dear sisters.
It Ends With Us arrives in theaters on Friday, August 9th.
