GreedFall: The Dying World launches on March 10 for PC and March 12 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S

Nacon and Spiders have revealed that GreedFall: The Dying World will be officially released on PC on March 10th, and on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on March 12th.

So, I’ve been playing GreedFall: The Dying World through Steam Early Access, and it’s finally getting a full release! Good news for PlayStation 5 owners too – the Japanese version is launching on March 19th. If you want to check out what’s new, Nacon and Spiders just dropped a gameplay trailer with all the details.

Nacon and Spiders Studio revealed in a new video that their role-playing game, GreedFall: The Dying World, will be released on PC (via Steam) on March 10th, and on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on March 12th. The video also showcases some of the game’s main features.

Forge your legend in a world in decline

GreedFall: The Dying World takes place three years before the original game, as a strange sickness called the Malichor plague starts to spread across the continent of Gacane. You’ll play as a native of the newly discovered island of Teer Fradee, training to become a Doneigad – a protector of knowledge and nature. However, your training is cut short when you’re captured and taken as a prisoner to Gacane.

When you try to escape and reclaim your freedom, you’ll uncover a huge conspiracy. It’s up to you to decide your fate and save your island – and potentially the whole continent.

It’s dangerous to go alone…

As I play, I’m meeting all sorts of new characters who want to help me out. I can recruit up to eight companions, and they’re not just tag-alongs – each one has their own backstory, what they believe in, and even secrets they’re keeping. Having them with me lets me get info, talk my way out of trouble, or, let’s be real, sometimes messes things up even more! It’s up to me how I build those relationships – will they become my closest allies, bitter rivals, good friends, or maybe even something more?

Master the art of combat

You can overcome challenges through smarts, negotiation, or direct combat against a variety of enemies. The game features a tactical pause system, letting you strategically coordinate with your team to find and exploit weaknesses, then unleash powerful abilities. Alternatively, you can directly control a single character and let your companions fight on their own. With so many choices, you can tailor the combat to perfectly match your playstyle!

Discover a fascinating world

I’m so excited to set sail on the Constanzia and explore Gacane! It’s a huge continent torn apart by different groups, and I get to travel all over, seeing incredible cities and landscapes. I’ll be uncovering secrets, finding treasure, and dealing with all sorts of dangers, of course. The best part is, my choices actually matter – they’ll affect how people see me, who I team up with, and ultimately, how my adventure ends. It feels like a truly dynamic world!

GreedFall: The Dying World is out now in early access on PC through Steam. The full game will be released on PC on March 10th, and on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on March 12th, 2026.
