For the upcoming 67th Grammy Awards, the Grammys have revealed a stellar group of artists set to take the stage. Among them are Benson Boone, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, Charli XCX, Doechii, Raye, Sabrina Carpenter, Shakira, and Teddy Swims who have been confirmed for performances.
Apart from their performances, these artists have been recognized with nominations across various Music Academy Award categories. In the near future, we’ll be unveiling another group of performers. Recently, Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. shared insights on the significant modifications planned for this year’s ceremony.
This year’s Grammy Awards, as reported by Deadline, won’t only serve to recognize and celebrate the best in music; they will also demonstrate the ability of music to inspire hope and unite people during challenging periods, like the Los Angeles wildfires.
Mason revealed that the Grammys’ board members are extremely pleased to see numerous artists uniting to express solidarity with music creators and others affected by the recent wildfires.
The statement further clarified that some events typically part of Grammy Week have either been canceled or restructured to offer greater assistance to those impacted by the crisis in Los Angeles and the wider city. As reported by Variety, these changes will also include fundraising for significant relief efforts aimed at addressing the destruction caused by the recent wildfires.
2025 Grammy Awards will once again be led by Trevor Noah as host for the fifth year running. The spotlight this year falls on Beyoncé, who has garnered an impressive 11 nominations for her country album, “Cowboy Carter”. This is a new career peak for Beyoncé, surpassing the 10 nominations she received back in 2009.
This year, several notable female pop artists are making a strong impact across the significant categories – Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Album of the Year. Alongside Beyoncé, artists such as Taylor Swift, Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, and Sabrina Carpenter have been nominated in major categories.
