- Goddess of Victory: Nikke and Resident Evil’s upcoming collaboration now has a confirmed date
- It’ll feature, among others, iconic female faces Jill Valentine, Ada Wong and Claire Redfield
- The crossover promises to add a tinge of the survival horror-fuelled action of Resi to Nikke
Considering its rich history and numerous female characters, a collaboration between Resident Evil and Goddess of Victory: Nikke was inevitable. Now, you can experience the survival horror of Resident Evil with the Nikke cast starting September 24th!
The story unfolds in a creepy, abandoned mansion where a strange new virus is spreading. Members of the A.C.P.U. Squad, along with D and the Commander, are investigating when they unexpectedly encounter Jill Valentine and other characters from the Resident Evil series.
For fans of Resident Evil, this installment brings back beloved characters like Valentine, Ada Wong, and Claire Redfield. While the recent Death Island movie did feature some of these characters, whether or not to include those CG films when considering their recent appearances often comes down to personal preference.
Hey, damnation was pretty good!
Either way, Goddess of Victory: Nikke x Resident Evil collaboration, Evil Reborn, promises to bring a slightly darker take to Nikke and a slightly lighter take for Resi as a whole. No zombies here, as it’s purely nondescript beasties and monsters you’ll be putting down.
Goddess of Victory: Nikke is very clearly designed to appeal to fans of pin-up art, but it cleverly combines that with fun, fast-paced shooting action. It doesn’t quite feel like a traditional survival horror game, but many players will be eager to jump in when it releases on September 24th.
