God of War Ragnarok by Santa Monica Studio is getting a fresh update, scheduled for January 30, 2025. This update allows you to customize the look of your gear, and it also gives players access to an armor set that was previously exclusive to New Game+, on both PS5 and PS4 consoles.

Following the latest update, gamers have an opportunity to collect the Armor of the Black Bear set during regular gameplay. You can find and claim it from your first encounter with a Lost Items chest. Earlier, players needed to begin a New Game+ to acquire this armor, but now that’s no longer necessary.

Now, too, the enhancement brings the ability to utilize the transmogrification system right from the start of the game. With this function, you can alter the appearance of your armor without affecting its initial stats. Earlier, you needed to advance your armor to level 9 before you could make use of this feature.
