Preparations are underway for the second season of the anime version of “Go! Go! Loser Ranger!”, and there’s plenty to look forward to. Recently, the official site revealed some new voice actors who will be joining the cast, introducing fresh personalities to the show.
In this production, Kōji Yusa will lend his voice to Hwalipon, a significant member within the Invader Rights Association. Conversely, Hiroshi Kamiya assumes the role of Yakushi Usukubo, who is both the chairman and the father of Angel Usukubo, the group’s leader.
Yūki Kaji portrays Kyōsuke Wakaba, a Green Battalion veteran who inexplicably disappeared, while Masakazu Morita embodies Masashi Nishiki, an investigator delving into the bizarre vanishings referred to as ‘the vanished-away’ cases.
The upcoming season also features Kōsuke Toriumi as Chidori, who is an informant linked with the Green Battalion. On the antagonistic side, Boss Monster Magatia, known by his code name ‘Snake’, makes an appearance, accompanied by Mine Gatō, a soldier from the past who obeys Magatia’s commands. Last but not least, Satoru Ito will lend his voice to Shigenobu Murakami, a detective with years of experience, aiding in the investigation into the disappearances of students.
The anime is slated to debut on the 13th of April and will be broadcast on CBC/TBS and 28 associated stations every Sunday at 11:30 p.m. (Japan Standard Time) in the Agaru Anime time slot. As before, Disney+ will manage streaming, making it probable that it will also stream on Hulu in the U.S., although this hasn’t been officially verified as of now.
Director Keiichi Satō resumes his role at the helm of the project, collaborating with Keiichirō Ōchi on the script. Kahoko Koseki returns as character designer, and Kenji Hayama takes charge of animation. As before, Yoshihiro Ike will compose the music, promising another powerful soundtrack for the series.
As a die-hard fan, I can’t contain my excitement! Back in April 2024, this amazing anime series was unveiled to the world, gracing our screens via Disney+ and Hulu. It’s been an absolute joy to follow its journey since Sato, renowned for his work on Tiger & Bunny, joined Yostar Pictures in 2021 and has played a pivotal role in shaping the studio’s creative vision.
This anime is a breathtaking adaptation of Negi Haruba’s captivating manga, which made its debut in Weekly Shōnen Magazine all the way back in February 2021. I can’t wait to see where this incredible story takes us next!
Having successfully transformed into a stage play, “Go! Go! Loser Ranger!” is gearing up for an exhilarating continuation in its second season. Expect increased action, shrouded mysteries, and intense confrontations as we strap in for another thrilling journey ahead.
