Go! Go! Loser Ranger! Season 2 Reveals New Visual, Confirms April Release

The second season of “Go! Go! Loser Ranger!” is all set to begin on April 13th, as announced through the show’s official social media channels. Alongside this news, they also shared a fresh visual (see below). In the image, characters are seen gathered in a classroom, suggesting some interesting plot twists that might be coming up.

The animated show is scheduled to premiere in Japan every Sunday at 11:30 PM (Japan Standard Time) within the ‘Agaru Anime’ time slot, airing on CBC/TBS and 28 other stations. Globally, Disney+ will provide streaming access, and while it isn’t explicitly stated, Disney+ content frequently appears on Hulu in the U.S. as well.

The main team from the initial season will be coming back for the second season. Keiichi Sato, who gained fame with “Tiger & Bunny”, remains as the director, collaborating with Yostar Pictures. Additionally, Keiichirou Ochi, renowned for his writing work in series such as “The Quintessential Quintuplets” and “Adachi and Shimamura”, returns to handle the series composition.

In this project, Kahoko Koseki takes care of the character design, Kenji Hayama supervises the animation process, while Yoshihiro Ike works on creating the music score.

In the spring of 2024, I had the pleasure of watching the first season of an anime that was streamable on Disney+, and for North American viewers, also on Hulu. It was a production by Yostar Pictures, a studio known for their work on series such as “Arknights: Prelude to Dawn” and “Azur Lane Queen’s Orders”. They were the ones responsible for animating both seasons of this show.

Negi Haruba’s manga, renowned for “The Quintessential Quintuplets,” started publication in the “Weekly Shōnen Magazine” back in February 2021. Since then, it has gained significant recognition and sparked a stage play that took place in Tokyo as recently as September last year.

As its comeback nears, it appears that “Go! Go! Loser Ranger!” will once more captivate audiences globally with its thrilling narrative.
