Additional artists have been confirmed for the upcoming event, including Benson Boone and Raye. Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 28, 2024, as this exciting concert will take place at Central Park’s Great Lawn.

I’m thrilled to announce that I’ll be joining music icons such as Doja Cat, Lisa, Rauw Alejandro, Jelly Roll, Post Malone, and many others at the New York City festival this year. It’s going to be an unforgettable experience!

As per PEOPLE magazine, Boone has talked about what drew him to the event.

In simpler terms, the young artist expressed, “It’s up to us all to put an end to severe poverty. I feel fortunate to be contributing to Global Citizen’s endeavor by aiding those who currently struggle with extreme poverty.”

He further said, “I hope we can all come together to take action and make a real difference in the world.” The event will be hosted by Hugh Jackman, who is also the ambassador for Global Citizen.

According to PEOPLE magazine’s report, the star known for portraying Deadpool and Wolverine has expressed in a press statement his excitement about reprising his role as the host for the Global Citizen Festival this upcoming autumn.

These individuals are also part of the group: Dr. Jane Goodall, Danai Gurira, Gavin DeGraw, Chris Martin, Kal Penn, Bill Nye, Rachel Brosnahan, Sophia Bush, Bridget Moynahan, Vladimir Duthiers, Doctor Mike Varshavski, Jordan Fisher, Antoni Porowski, and others.

Kick-off Climate Week on September 21, 2024, as Global Citizen organizes a coastal cleanup in collaboration with the Jamaica Bay Rockaway Parks Conservancy.

The Global Citizen Festival is making an effort towards sustainability, aiming to power its Central Park stage with the very same SmartGrid battery system used during Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres world tour.

So, they will be moving away from using diesel generators.

Individuals seeking to participate in the event have the opportunity to acquire free tickets if they engage in activities addressing critical global and humanitarian concerns, particularly those related to our planet and its inhabitants. It’s said that over 4 million such actions were carried out through various Global Citizen campaigns last year.
