During an interview with PEOPLE magazine, Glen Powell and Daisy Edgar-Jones shared their initial impressions of each other while filming Lee Isaac Chung’s Twisters. Powell recounted, “Daisy arrived on set looking very stylish in a chic outfit, complete with a scarf and various accessories.”

The actor who didn’t want to work with her in the movie mentioned that he hadn’t seen her dressed up on set since then, commenting that they both wore “sweatpants” from that day forward. Following his statement, Edgar-Jones joked about making a great first impression by dressing nicely for their initial encounter before filming began.

After enduring three exhausting months of filming for The Pond Life movie in harsh conditions such as being hit by jet engines, rained on, hailed upon, and bombarded with debris, the actress admitted that she would collapse into bed right up until the last moment. With energy reserves depleted, she would quickly throw on whatever clothes were at hand, and make her way to the set.

During an interview with Variety, Daisy Edgar-Jones spoke about working alongside Glen Powell on the set of Twisters. She shared that Powell is not just “one of the most hardworking” actors she’s encountered in her career but also genuinely so.

In an interview with the media outlet, she shared that she noticed numerous weather and storm-chasing books in his trailer. She praised him as an excellent acting companion, adding that they both possess similar acting methods.

I was absolutely thrilled when Edgar Jones shared more insights about the making of this movie. He mentioned that the entire cast had developed a strong bond off-set. One place they went to strengthen their connection was a fabulous club named “Cowboys.” Can you imagine it? For hours on end, people were line dancing or swing dancing! What an unforgettable experience that must have been for them. I can only dream of being a part of such a tight-knit group.
