Gina Gershon Reveals She Almost ‘Broke’ Co-Star Tom Cruise’s Nose During Filming THIS Scene; Find Out

In an open conversation, Showgirls and Cocktail actress Gina Gershon discusses her past relationship with Tom Cruise, sharing stories about a nearly physical altercation during filming and whether or not they became romantically involved.

Gershan is well-known and respected actress who’s built an impressive career spanning many decades. She’s graced the silver screen in numerous hit films and collaborated with some of the most famous actors in Hollywood. There have been numerous rumors throughout her career about a possible romantic involvement with her co-star, Tom Cruise.

On Andy Cohen’s show Watch What Happens Live, a fan inquired if there was any truth to the rumors about Gershan and Cruise dating. When asked, Gina promptly denied it, but she did mention that her first-ever love scene was filmed with Tom Cruise.

During their conversation with Andy Cohen and Cate Blanchett, Gershon shared that Tom Cruise was incredibly thoughtful towards her during the production of the film. However, she confessed that there was one instance where she felt unable to reciprocate his attentiveness in return.

During filming, she warned Tom about her ticklish nature, asking him to be cautious with any unexpected alterations in the dance routine. However, it seems Cruise misunderstood Gershan’s joke, and when he attempted an unplanned scene change, she wasn’t expecting it, causing Cruise to receive the consequences instead.

Gina reminisced about an amusing yet alarming situation: “In a single moment, I felt compelled to exclaim… I believe he sought a response; he grabbed my abdomen, and in response, I kicked him squarely in the nose. I blurted out something like, ‘Oh, my goodness, I think I’ve broken Tom Cruise’s nose.’ He retorted, ‘No, no, you lied to me.’ I apologized, saying, ‘I’m so sorry,’ and he replied, ‘It was my mistake.'” She elaborated on the humorous yet terrifying incident.

Additionally, Gershon mentioned that Tom showed excessive concern for her and found it endearing. When asked about rumors of a romantic relationship with the Mission Impossible star, Gershon playfully refused to confirm or deny, hinting that if anything happened, she would keep it private. However, she did add that Mimi Rogers, Tom’s wife at the time, was often present.
