As a huge music fan, especially of ska, listening to this really takes me back to the ’90s! Ska actually had a first wave of popularity back in the early ’80s with bands like Madness, but it exploded again in the ’90s. I remember bands like the Mighty Mighty Bosstones, Sublime, and No Doubt really leading that charge. It’s awesome to see artists like JER still keeping the ska spirit alive today, even in 2025! And it turns out the Ghostbusters theme isn’t the only classic getting a ska makeover on the Ska Tune Network. They’ve also done a fantastic version of the Addams Family theme, which you absolutely have to check out right here:
Plus, JER from the Ska Tune Network has a fantastic ska version of “Grim Grinning Ghosts” from Disney’s Haunted Mansion! Enjoy all of these tunes and keep the Halloween spirit going long after everyone else starts playing Christmas music – all the way through 2025!
If you enjoy ska versions of popular songs, check out the Ska Tune Network on YouTube!
