In preparation for the upcoming expansion in March, Throne and Liberty is implementing significant updates, and the developers are inviting players to join this critical transition with enticing incentives at hand. Launched on Steam last year, Throne and Liberty garnered acclaim for its free-to-play structure, guild-focused gameplay, and MMORPG features integrated within the realm of Solisium. To accommodate the growing player base, a crucial adjustment to the servers is imminent.
In October of 2024, the MMORPG known as “Throne and Liberty” was debuted by NCSoft. Originally connected to the “Lineage” series during development, it eventually underwent a transformation. This year, the game received its first update of 2025, primarily focusing on enhancing combat, user interface, and overall player experience. Patch 1.12.0 also addressed weapon modifications, inventory adjustments, and improved team management in War Games, with changes to display combat presets for simpler setting adjustments by players.
In order to make sure that the initial expansion of Throne and Liberty is smooth for all gamers, NCSoft is migrating the game’s player community onto combined servers. This migration will be free for everyone. To entice players to participate, developers are providing a 20% boost in Sollant from hunting, 50% more mastery experience from all sources, and 50% more Training Dew. This incentive is similar to the rewards offered by NCSoft during the start of the year for Throne and Liberty, which included Ornate Coins, Trait Unlockstones, Star Crystals, and Rare Rune Chests as compensation for any extended downtime. The server restructuring commenced on February 13, 2025, and players have until February 27 to transfer and collect their in-game rewards.
Throne and Liberty Players Receive Perks During Server Consolidation
Enthusiasts are delighted that the game Throne and Liberty has now given console users the option to play with a mouse and keyboard, as it strives to make the experience more balanced and provide a glimpse of PC gaming. The community is appreciative of these improvements while they wait for the server setup to be revamped. Furthermore, gamers are eagerly anticipating learning about the upcoming expansion, although they expressed some frustration with the lack of content in February.
Fans of Throne and Liberty are looking forward to March 6th, as it’s the day their MMORPG is set to release its first free expansion. Titled “Wilds of the Talandre“, this update brings a wealth of new content and areas to explore, along with a revamp of the weapon mastery system. Moreover, players can expect an increased level cap and a fresh batch of gear to test out as they delve into a new region that’s just waiting to be discovered.
