In 2023, Insight Editions released a stunning book offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse at the making of the acclaimed film *Dune: Part One*. The book, *Dune: Part One: The Photography*, revealed how director Denis Villeneuve adapted Frank Herbert’s classic novel for the big screen. Now, the publisher is doing the same for the sequel, and TopMob is giving fans an exclusive first look at photos from *Dune: Part Two: The Photography*.
The filming of *Dune: Part Two* took the cast and crew to various locations around the globe, including Budapest, Hungary; Altivole, Italy; Jordan; and Abu Dhabi. Photographer Niko Tavernise captured the entire production process.
On November 4, 2025, a new book from Insight Editions will feature hundreds of behind-the-scenes photos from the film’s production. This large-format book (11 x 1.2 x 10 inches) offers a glimpse into the film’s global journey. But you don’t have to wait – you can see some of the photos now!
Even though Tavernise was shooting on the set of a dramatic science fiction and fantasy film, these photos reveal the cast and crew were still having a great time. It seems even playing a serious character like Gurney Halleck couldn’t stop the actor from smiling!
