As a thrilled fan, I’m excited to announce that Genshin Impact’s Luna I update is here! This expansive update introduces a plethora of fresh content and features to our beloved open-world RPG. One of the most exciting changes? Characters can now ascend beyond level 90, all the way up to level 100! This upgrade significantly boosts their base stats, amplifying both their damage potential and resilience.
In a simpler phrasing, advancing characters from level 90 to 100 operates differently compared to taking them from level 1 up to 90. The latter process necessitates gathering particular resources and drops from enemies, along with the use of materials to enhance character experience points. However, reaching level 100 doesn’t depend on these elements.
Find out how to reach character level 100 in Genshin Impact below.
How to upgrade a character to level 100 in Genshin Impact
To achieve the highest level for a character in Genshin Impact, you now need an innovative piece of equipment that debuted with update Luna I – the Masterless Stella Fortuna.
How to obtain Masterless Stella Fortuna
In simpler terms, after getting the Luna I update, when you acquire a five-star character whose constellation level is already at its maximum, you’ll receive an unbound Stella Fortuna instead of extra items for four-star characters with duplicates. This special item can be used to upgrade the Constellation level of your existing characters.
To obtain your initial Masterless Stella Fortuna, you’ll require eight identical high-rank characters. This mechanic is particularly designed for dedicated gamers who have been playing for a long time or those who invest heavily in the game.
How to reach level 100
Masterless Stella Fortuna can then be used to increase any character’s maximum level:
- Masterless Stella Fortuna x1 – increases level cap from 90 to 95
- Masterless Stella Fortuna x2 – increases level cap from 95 to 100
To reach level 100 for a single character, you’ll require three Stella Fortunas in total. This is equivalent to obtaining a 5-Star character ten times, which can be quite an enormous task. Fortunately, there’s some assistance with this now: The “To Temper Thyself and Journey Far” event allows you to acquire extra Stellar Fortunas for your existing characters, moving you one step forward in the goal of collecting ten copies.
