General Hospital’s Steve Burton Ties Knot With Chef Michelle Lundstrom In Intimate California Wedding

On May 17, Steve Burton, well-known actor from General Hospital, exchanged vows with culinary influencer Michelle Lundstrom in a private wedding held in Laguna Beach, California.

As reported by People, the event began with a heartfelt Orthodox church wedding ceremony, which was then followed by a touching oceanfront reception held at Montage Laguna Beach. Approximately 45 close friends and family members attended this intimate gathering.

Yet, the coastal wedding reception, with its selective guest list, managed to include some of Burton’s General Hospital colleagues whom I admire deeply – none other than Jonathan Jackson and his wife, Lisa Vultaggio. The anticipation was palpable!

Lundstrom put on a custom, strapless wedding dress designed by Lee Petra Grebenau, boasting an antique and romantic aesthetic that matched her personal style. Her daughters Lilah and Hannah had a hand in selecting the bridal gown, and they collaborated with Burton’s children, Makena, Jack, and Brooklyn, in the bridal party. Jack took on the role of groomsman, which held particular significance for the actor, as reported by the news outlet.

In addition to Lundstrom, his sister Janine played a significant role as the maid of honor during the ceremony. On the groom’s side, Jeremy Ross, a close friend of Burton, served as the best man. As quoted by People, Burton expressed his excitement about spending the rest of his life with his dearest companion, growing stronger together in faith and love each day.

Meanwhile, for the chef, tying the knot with Burton was a “fairy tale.”

The music that filled the air during both cocktail hour and the reception was none other than the tunes from the 1980s – a symphony that echoed our shared love for this incredible decade. It was as if they had taken two of our favorite things and woven them seamlessly into the fabric of our special day. Simply divine!

At their first dance, Burton and Lundstrom danced to Forest Blakk’s song “I Choose You”. The food, prepared by chefs from Montage, was said to have been a treat for everyone who attended. For dessert, they opted for a sophisticated vanilla sponge cake with cream and fresh berries instead of the simple white sheet cake Burton had initially considered.

In January, Steve Burton unexpectedly popped the question to Michelle Lundstrom in Nashville, where he had meticulously arranged the proposal four months prior to their nuptials. After saying “I do,” they hosted a goodbye brunch for friends and relatives before jetting off on their honeymoon to Maui, Hawaii, beginning their journey as a married couple.
