General Hospital Recap, July 23 Episode: Drew Suspects Willow of Stalking Daisy

In the July 23rd episode of General Hospital, Drew grew suspicious that Willow could be linked to the baby-napping case surrounding Daisy. Following the departure of Sasha and Daisy from town, Nina inquired about the matter with Drew. She confessed her belief that he had both a reason and an opportunity for this incident. However, Drew asserted his innocence, hinting instead that the situation might be related to Sonny.

Simultaneously, Drew inquired about Willow’s plans for the 4th of July, subtly investigating whether she might have any connection to the peculiar occurrences. Without explicitly accusing her, it appeared as if she was a prime suspect on his radar.

Willow backs Drew despite blackmail plan

At General Hospital, Portia shared with Willow Drew’s idea to falsely accuse Michael of being a drug addict. Initially, Willow refused to believe it, but later conceded that there might be some truth to it. Despite the gravity of the plot, Willow expressed faith in Drew and was prepared to back his moves if they safeguarded her kids.

A little while later, Portia passed on the identical tale to Nina. The way the narrative was structured left Nina quite startled. Portia observed, however, that Nina’s response was far more fitting compared to Willow’s nonchalant demeanor.

Previously, Jason conversed with Carly by the Metro Court pool and brought up a suspicion that he believed he spotted Britt at the airport. Carly reminded him of Britt’s demise, but Jason, having experienced his own resurrection, found himself doubting everything. He entertained the idea that the sighting could have been genuine, particularly since Britt had surfaced in his thoughts following a conversation with Rocco.

Liesl returns to Port Charles

At a place where axe-throwing was taking place, Liesl was getting closer to young James, and even Spinelli happened to be present during this heartwarming moment. Later on, Spinelli shared the news of Liesl’s arrival with Lulu, causing Lulu to arrange a meeting with Dante. The two then hurried towards the pool in order to alert Rocco to keep his distance from Liesl. However, Rocco refused to heed their warning, claiming that he was the one who had initially reached out to her.

In the meantime, Lucas rescued Marco from a warehouse and subsequently had a confrontation with Carly regarding Sonny and Jason’s involvement in the kidnapping. Lucas made it clear to her that she should not support them any further.

At the Police Crime Prevention Department (PCPD), Marco fabricated a tale about slipping into a ravine and spending the night in his vehicle. Despite ADA Turner suspecting Sonny, she couldn’t provide evidence to support her suspicion. Sonny countered these accusations by claiming he had saved Marco from certain death when he intervened.

As the episode drew to a close, I found myself grappling with the heartrending news that Britt had passed away in Obrecht’s embrace. This revelation sparked an irresistible urge within me to confront Liesl face-to-face, now that she had returned to Port Charles.
