In the July 17th edition of General Hospital, emotions ran high in Port Charles. Nina revealed a scheme of blackmail, Sasha started anew with baby Daisy, while Josslyn covertly probed into questionable actions surrounding a secretive bag at the pool. Simultaneously, heartfelt reunions and subtle standoffs deepened the evolving storylines with emotional intensity.

Nina confesses the blackmail to Sonny

Following a damaging article that portrayed her marriage negatively, Nina confided in Sonny that Tracy had coerced her into it. Although Sonny was disappointed she hadn’t told him sooner, he sympathized with Nina’s need to shield her relationship with Willow. Nina also cautioned that further unfavorable articles might emerge, focusing this time on Sonny’s psychological health due to the interviewer’s probing questions.

Lulu and Dante disagree over Brook Lynn

Lulu wasn’t pleased that Dante had quickly forgiven Brook Lynn for what transpired with Rocco. She believed Dante should make Brook Lynn face consequences if he aimed to bond with Gio. Later on, Lulu spoke with Sonny and suggested he find a buyer for the piers to boost Laura’s political standing. Sonny promised her that he would manage the predicament.

At the café, Liesl delightfully encountered a grown Rocco. Upon inquiring about Britt, Liesl candidly acknowledged her daughter’s imperfections but also commended her for living independently. Later on, Liesl met Nina at Crimson, and the two exchanged heartfelt embraces as Liesl offered comfort and encouragement.

In brief moments when Professor Dalton was swimming, Josslyn spotted woman named Greta checking a bag abandoned by Dalton. Seizing this opportunity, Josslyn decided to secretly plant a tracker in the bag. Later, when Danny was distracted by a generous tip from Greta, she picked up the bag. Realizing he missed his chance to stop her at the pool, Josslyn swiftly contacted Vaughn to meet and intercept Greta at an alternate location instead.

Anna hinted to Felicia that there could be a link between Vaughn and the WSB’s monitoring of Dalton. Later, she tasked Dante with a job pertaining to this issue, and it appeared he was eager to embark on a fresh endeavor.
