General Hospital, May 28 Episode Recap: Giovanni Asks Brook Lynn’s Excuse for Giving Him Up for Adoption

In the episode of General Hospital broadcasted on May 28, at the Police Department, Willow and Drew sought assistance from Mac because Jason had supposedly taken Amelia from their home. Upon reflection, Mac deduced that the children were probably with their father.

He visits Carly’s home, carrying queries swirling in his thoughts. Upon his return to Crew and Willow, he shares about a court order that Michael obtained for temporary custody, effective until the June hearing. This situation left him without any options.

Later on, Willow arrives at Carly’s residence and faces off against Michael. Moreover, she implores Michael not to deprive her of her children. However, Michael remains motionless, fixing his gaze upon her.

Ned goes off on Lois

In the show, Ned scolds Lois for failing to inform him about Brook Lynn’s pregnancy and adoption. Similarly, Olivia also expresses her disapproval towards Lois, with Lois responding by mentioning that she also didn’t share Sonny’s involvement in Dante’s paternity with him.

In addition to challenging Lois, Sonny also found himself appreciating her actions. Although he didn’t approve of what she did, he valued the chance she provided him to support Giovanni financially, which allowed him a role in Gio’s life. Ultimately, Sonny showed his sympathy by embracing Lois.

What did Gio, Brook Lynn, and Dante talk about?

It appears that Gio seems to steer clear of discussing anything with Dante and Brook Lynn at the Quartermaine residence. However, they manage to halt him for an explanation. Dante admitted that he didn’t know Brook was pregnant.

Gio inquired about the reason his birth mother chose not to keep him. Even though she surrendered the baby, Brook admitted that she didn’t know whether she had a son or a daughter at the moment of surrender. However, despite her explanation, Gio continued to feel like he wasn’t wanted because after giving him up, Brook never made an effort to find him later on.

Later on, Dante accuses Brook of deceiving them, but she explains that she was frightened when it happened, and as she grew older and more discerning, it became too late to reveal the truth.

In my role as a loyal confidant, I found myself in the presence of Brook, who was visibly distressed. I, Harrison, offered comfort and admitted that I had been privy to the matter concerning her baby. Dante, understandably upset, questioned why Chase had not shared this information sooner, and also wondered how Gio came to know about it. Initially, Chase planned to take Brook upstairs, but upon Ned’s arrival, those plans were temporarily postponed.
