In the previous episode, Valentin attempted to poison Brennan by lacing champagne with poison, but it was Carly who ended up drinking it instead. Despite this near-fatal incident, Carly managed to pull through due to an antidote administered at the very last moment. As a result, a fiercely determined Brennan is now on a mission to eliminate Valentin permanently in retaliation.
It seems Valentin believed Brennan was responsible for dispatching an assassination team after him in South America, but it appears he made a mistake and tangled with the wrong person. Given the circumstances, it may prove challenging for him to resume his life in Port Charles. Will Valentin always be on the run as a fugitive?
Anna learned about Valentin’s unsuccessful attempt at murder, which she now understands was behind Carly’s unexpected hospitalization. Anna feels remorseful because she allowed Valentin to escape, hoping he would return their daughter, Charlotte. If Valentin continues recklessly, it could endanger both Charlotte and Anna significantly!
At the hospital, Carly was conscious and inquired from Jack about his destination, to which he replied, “I’m going to take measures so this incident doesn’t recur.” Undoubtedly, Jack is determined to eradicate Valentin completely. Meanwhile, Sonny and Valentin had a heated exchange.
In the most recent installment, Valentin ended up getting captured at gunpoint due to breaking into Sonny’s residence, which was previously owned by Valentin himself. To secure his release, Valentin struck a deal with Sonny, revealing information about Soliski – an assassin who is after him.
