Okay, so chapter two of Where Winds Meet really gets things moving with this quest called ‘Gathering of Heroes‘! After finally getting to Kaifeng, I was shocked by what the city was really like. Now, my character and their buddy, Big Zhao, are trying to sneak into the Heroes Assembly – it’s getting exciting!

Gathering Of Heroes Quest Walkthrough

Begin your journey by finding Big Zhao at Velvet Shade in Kaifeng and talking to him. Then, quietly board the boat traveling to the Heroes Assembly. Once inside the hall, change into the clothes Zhao has prepared for you.

Once you’ve changed clothes, go with Zhao to Revelry Hall and up to the third floor to find the Ember of East. After watching the cutscene, you’ll need to defeat three groups of enemies – each group has three opponents.

Once you’ve finished that, you’ll have to accept the consequences. Next, listen in on a conversation between Big Zhao and the Prefect of Kaifeng. Afterwards, talk to Zhao again, and then go upstairs to the third floor to start looking into what happened.

Go to the room where the Ember of East was kept and examine the ruins on the left side of where he sat. Tell Zhao what you find. After that, go to where the Ember of East is now being held, and then leave the Revelry Hall.

Go to the theater on the far side of town and show Master Pu the mask. Once the scene finishes playing, you’ll finish the quest.

The next quest, Reunion, will start when it reaches Chen Hour. You can either set your game time to Chen Hour to begin immediately, or wait for the in-game time to progress naturally.
