Garth Brooks’ Accuser Reveals Explicit Text He Sent Her and Slams the Singer for Publicly Revealing Her Name ‘Out of Spite’

As a long-time fan of Garth Brooks, who has grown up listening to his heartfelt ballads and foot-stomping country tunes, it is truly disheartening to see such allegations against one of my musical heroes. However, I am not blind to the reality that the entertainment industry can sometimes be a breeding ground for inappropriate behavior.

The accuser of Garth Brooks is said to have presented an “explicit” text supposedly penned by the country artist as evidence to back up her accusations. Meanwhile, his legal team has criticized him for publicly disclosing her name in his counterclaim.

62-year-old Brooks has been implicated in charges of sexual assault and battery, as stated in a lawsuit submitted on October 3rd. The accuser, who was his makeup artist for 15 years, filed the lawsuit anonymously using the pseudonym Jane Roe to protect her identity. She alleges that he raped her in 2019.

In line with the report from In Touch, I’ve shared what appears to be a screenshot of a text conversation between me and Brooks. I quote myself saying, “And that big stick you carry! Roosevelt!!”, which was redacted in the complaint, according to their account. To this, Brooks is said to have responded, “I’ll take that nickname. Thank you. I love you.” He even added a few heart emojis to sweeten his message, as seen in the Daily Mail’s copy of the media.

Court records suggest that Brooks is accused of communicating with Roe via multiple phones and occasionally employing pseudonyms. On occasion, he would reportedly inform her in advance that the texts she received were from him, using a false name.

In her court documents, as reported by The Daily Mail, the plaintiff alleges that Brooks prompted her to converse in a suggestive way with him. Furthermore, she suggests that while Brooks believed he erased most of their communication from her phone, some of their supposed interactions are still stored on her device.

Concerning the singer unveiling Roe’s identity in his court filing on Tuesday, October 8, lawyers from LLP commented: “Garth Brooks has shown his true colors. In an attempt to retaliate and punish, he exposed a rape victim publicly. Without any legal basis, Brooks revealed her identity, believing that the laws do not apply to him.

The legal representatives have declared that they will immediately pursue the most severe penalties possible for the singer, acting on behalf of their client.

On October 7th (Monday), during a live broadcast on Facebook, Brooks spoke about his ongoing legal matters, expressing that the case is active on his side and that it’s imminent. He also mentioned that this legal dispute could span over two years. In documents filed in Mississippi last September, the singer claimed that Roe had attempted extortion by threatening to falsely involve him in the accusations previously mentioned.

In response to Roe’s lawsuit against her, Brooks, who previously denied all the accusations, is now asking the court for a judgment that clears him of the charges. He also wants compensatory and punitive damages, lawyer fees, and any additional remedies the court deems appropriate from his accuser.
