Gang Movies That Avoid Tragic Endings

Gangster movies usually show a criminal’s journey from power to downfall, often ending with them either dead or in jail. Viewers generally anticipate these films as warnings about the dangers of choosing a life of crime. But some movies defy this pattern, offering stories where characters find redemption or manage to escape their criminal lives successfully. These films allow the protagonists to outwit their rivals or leave the criminal world behind, surviving in the process. Here are twenty examples of gangster and crime films that have surprisingly positive endings.
