For the English dub, the voice direction was handled by Caitlin Glass, and she had some great assistants: Aaron Dismuke, Lee George, and Michelle Rojas. As for the cast, Taito Ban (in the Japanese version) and Aleks Le (in the English dub) both voiced Jinwoo, alongside a bunch of other talented actors.

6. ‘The Rising of the Shield Hero’ (2019– )

Based on Aneko Yusagi’s novels, ‘Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari’ (also known as ‘The Rising of the Shield Hero’) tells the story of Naofumi Iwatani. He’s one of four heroes brought to another world and must battle recurring disasters called Waves. Naofumi specializes in defense, using shield-based combat, and builds a team with companions such as Raphtalia and Filo. The anime series premiered in 2019 and has continued with several seasons.

The animation studio Kinema Citrus is responsible for producing the series. Takao Abo directed the first season, followed by Masato Jinbo for Season 2, and Hitoshi Haga for Season 3.
