As a long-time gamer and avid collector of Funko Pops, I was thrilled when I heard about Funko Fusion, the new AAA game set in the Funko Pop universe. The prospect of merging my two passions – gaming and collecting – was too exciting to ignore! But now, as a seasoned gamer, I’ve learned to expect the unexpected.
The debut AAA game based on the Funko Pop universe, Funko Fusion by 1010 Games, is delayed for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch users. They’ll have to be patient for an additional two months before they can play.
As a long-time gaming enthusiast, I’m excited about the upcoming release of this highly anticipated game. However, I must admit that I feel a pang of disappointment upon learning that not all platforms will be releasing on the same day. September 13th is marked in my calendar as the day for PC, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 5 users to finally get their hands on this title. But alas, Switch and PlayStation 4 owners like myself will have to wait an extra month, with November 15th being the release date for us. It’s a bit disheartening to know that I’ll be missing out on the initial excitement and community experience that comes with a new game launch. Nonetheless, I’ll remain patient and continue to look forward to adding this title to my collection later in the year.
As a dedicated gamer and avid fan of Funko Fusion, I’m here to share some exciting, yet unfortunate news with you all. The team at 1010 Games has made the tough call to postpone the release of the PlayStation 4 and digital Nintendo Switch versions until November 15th.
At Summer Gamefest, Funko announced Funko Fusion – a new collectible experience featuring numerous Funko Pop figures set up in a manner reminiscent of TT Games (both run by the same people). The lineup includes franchises such as Jurassic World, Back to the Future, Invincible, and many more.
