In a fan-posted video on X (originally Twitter), Adele was visibly emotional as she drew near to Celine Dion, who is famously known for her song My Heart Will Go On. This video, shared by an attendee, shows the two artists conversing at length, with Adele exclaiming “Oh my gosh!” and holding hands with Dion.
Later on, the artist behind “Love in the Dark” shared more about the emotions swirling within her upon encountering Dion, in a subsequent social media update.
For more than two years, Adele mentioned, she has been putting on shows inside Celine Dion’s performance space, which is located at the Colosseum in Caesars Palace, Las Vegas.
The singer of Make You Feel My Love stated that the only place she desired to perform in Las Vegas was the room, as it was specifically constructed for Celine Dion.
In her extended message, Adele went on to mention that she keeps a photo of Celine Dion near the stage and gives it a gentle touch each evening before taking the stage for her performance.
It was quite unexpected to find Adele’s contemporary, the “Someone Like You” singer, attending her performance. Adele went on to express that her feelings for Celine Dion are difficult to put into words, and performing alongside Dion in her show holds significant meaning.

If you’re not familiar, Celine Dion’s performance space at The Colosseum in Caesars Palace was constructed in 2003, specifically for her A New Day residency. Since then, this prestigious venue has played host to remarkable shows by artists like Elton John, Kylie Minogue, Diana Ross, and others following its grand opening event.
In the year 2018, Adele paid a visit to Céline Dion backstage at her Colosseum residence, during this time she affectionately referred to Dion as a “queen” and expressed admiration for her skills.
