As a gamer with over two decades of Marvel Cinematic Universe under my belt, I can confidently say that “Captain America: Brave New World” is shaping up to be a game-changer. With an impressive cast including Harrison Ford as Thaddeus Ross and the return of Isaiah Bradley, it’s safe to say that Phase 5 is off to an epic start.
I can’t wait to be a part of the action when “Captain America: Brave New World” premieres in theaters on Valentine’s Day, 2025! This thrilling new chapter promises to be an essential addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe as it kicks off Phase 5.
In this new storyline, Sam Wilson embarks on his inaugural solo mission as Captain America. The role of General Thaddeus Ross is taken by Harrison Ford, who undergoes a transformation to become the powerful Red Hulk.
The story follows Sam as he faces an international crisis after Ross becomes President of the United States, forcing him to uncover and stop the true masterminds behind the chaos.
Danny Ramirez takes on the role of Joaquin Torres, who steps up as the latest Falcon, working alongside Sam Wilson equally. Shira Haas portrays Ruth Bat-Seraph, a former Israeli Black Widow and associate of President Ross, while Xosha Roquemore is introduced as a Secret Service agent in this production.
Carl Lumbly once again takes on the character of Isaiah Bradley, a super soldier who carries a complex history, while Giancarlo Esposito steps into the role of Seth Voelker, more famously known as Sidewinder – a cunning and robust leader within the Serpent Society. Liv Tyler returns to portray Betty Ross, a biologist and daughter of Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, played by Harrison Ford.
Tim Blake Nelson assumes the character of Samuel Sterns, who is better known as “The Leader” – a genius scientist transformed into a super-smart antagonist. In the film, Takehiro Hira portrays Prime Minister Ozaki, while Seth Rollins and Rosa Salazar are set to play undisclosed roles.
It was recently disclosed on social media platforms that several actors, including the Scandinavian star Johannes Haukur Johannesson, have signed up for the project they’re working on.

Jonas Johannesson is primarily recognized for his performances as Olaf Haraldsson on “Vikings: Valhalla”, Lem Lemoncloak in “Game of Thrones”, and roles in films such as “Atomic Blonde” and “The Northman”. His character in “Captain America: Brave New World” is still a mystery at this time.
As a dedicated fan, I’m excited to share that the narrative for “Captain America: Brave New World” is crafted by the talented trio of Malcolm Spellman, Dalan Musson, and Rob Edwards. The screenplay is masterfully penned by Julius Onah, Peter Glanz, and Matt Orton. Notably, Anthony Mackie steps up as an executive producer, joining esteemed Marvel stars such as Tom Hiddleston, Scarlett Johansson, Oscar Isaac, Samuel L. Jackson, Chris Hemsworth, and many more in bringing this captivating tale to life.
