‘Freakier Friday’ Tops Disney+’s Top 10 Most-Watched Movies List This Week

I’m so excited about what’s new on Disney+ this week! It’s a great mix of brand new shows and movies coming out in 2025, alongside all my old favorites I love to rewatch. Disney+ makes it easy to figure out what to watch – they give you all the important info like the cast, what the show or movie is about, when it came out, how long it is, and what formats it’s in. It helps me decide what to stream next!

‘A Very Jonas Christmas Movie’ (2025)

This new Disney+ movie stars the Jonas Brothers—Kevin, Joe, and Nick—as they try to get home for Christmas, traveling all the way from London to New York. Directed by Jessica Yu, it’s a family-friendly holiday musical set to premiere on November 14, 2025. The film features a supporting cast and will include music from the Jonas Brothers, making it a key seasonal release for the streaming platform.

‘Incredibles 2’ (2018)

In ‘Incredibles 2,’ the Parr family is back for another adventure. This time, Helen takes center stage as she tries to bring superheroes back into the public eye, while Bob focuses on home life. ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’ (2000)

The 2000 movie How the Grinch Stole Christmas, directed by Ron Howard and starring Jim Carrey, is a live-action version of the classic Dr. Seuss story. It’s about 105 minutes long and earned over $300 million globally. Universal Pictures distributes the film, and where you can stream it changes depending on the time of year. It’s still a popular choice for holiday viewing every year.

‘The Devil Wears Prada’ (2006)

‘The Devil Wears Prada,’ directed by David Frankel, is a comedy-drama movie starring Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway. It’s based on the novel by Lauren Weisberger and follows the story of life at a fashion magazine. The movie is around 1 hour and 50 minutes long and also features Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci. You can find it on Disney+ under the Star banner, though availability may differ depending on your location.

‘Home Alone’ (1990)

I absolutely love ‘Home Alone’! It’s about a young boy named Kevin McCallister who accidentally gets left behind when his family goes on vacation. He’s incredibly resourceful and ends up protecting his house from a couple of burglars with all these clever traps he sets up. Chris Columbus directed it, and it stars Macaulay Culkin, Joe Pesci, and Daniel Stern – a fantastic cast! It’s about an hour and 44 minutes long, and Disney+ usually lists it as a great movie for kids, perfect for the holidays. It’s a classic that I watch every year, and it’s always available on Disney+!

‘Freaky Friday’ (2003)

‘Freaky Friday’ is a funny movie from 2003, directed by Mark Waters, where a mother and daughter magically switch bodies for a day. Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis star in the film, which is based on a book from 1972 and was a big hit with audiences around the world. A sequel, ‘Freakier Friday,’ is scheduled to continue the story with Lohan and Curtis in 2025.

‘Predator: Badlands | A Special Look’ (2025)

A brief, four-minute promotional video gives fans a behind-the-scenes look and a preview of the upcoming ‘Predator: Badlands’ movie from 20th Century Studios. It’s currently listed on Disney+ as a documentary releasing in 2025, though availability may differ depending on your location. ‘The Fantastic 4: First Steps’ (2025)

Marvel’s new film, ‘The Fantastic 4: First Steps,’ takes a classic superhero team – Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Johnny Storm, and Ben Grimm – and places them in a unique, retro-futuristic world. The story revolves around a threat posed by Galactus. After a successful theatrical release earlier this year, the 1 hour and 56 minute movie will begin streaming on Disney+ on November 5, 2025, after becoming available for digital download and on physical media.

‘Freakier Friday’ (2025)
