To date, no formal announcements regarding casting have been made for the “Fourth Wing” TV series. Nevertheless, during an interview with Variety, author Rebecca Yarros shared some information about the selection process for a significant character in the live-action version.

Yarros expressed his thoughts on choosing the actor for Xaden, the lead love interest, in the TV series Fourth Wing: “We’ll simply say he’s a Person of Color; we won’t go any further. I chose not to respond to many posts that might have caused some controversy, but since we were already developing the series for TV, I wanted to keep the role as open as possible to various forms of diversity. That’s why I didn’t share my personal vision, so we could maintain as much openness and inclusivity as possible.

Yarros also pointed out that “Outlier Productions is exceptional, and they are among the pioneers in promoting diversity and inclusion through their policies, which made me even more delighted since I was confident they would value the diverse backgrounds of our cast members.
