Fortnite v36.10 patch notes: Everything new in this update

The initial significant update for the new Fortnite season is now available, and it’s notably larger than typical first-season patches. To kick off the new season, Fortnite Festival introduces a fresh face as its leader, introduces an entirely new Lego game mode, and offers a variety of stylish skins within the game.

In this update, we’ll provide you with comprehensive details about all the changes in Fortnite version 36.10. This way, you can stay informed about everything that’s new in the game today.

New Fortnite Festival season

Say so long for now to Sabrina Carpenter, because it’s Bruno Mars who will be headlining the main stage at Fortnite Festival for the upcoming season! Just like our previous main stage legends, Bruno Mars will offer a minimum of two distinct skins. One that you can purchase from the in-game shop during this season, and another that’s exclusively available through the Festival Pass. You can grab it with V-Bucks or get it, along with all the other passes, by subscribing to Fortnite Crew!

Lego Fortnite Expeditions

Yesterday, the Lego Fortnite Expeditions was unveiled, and now it’s all set for you to dive into the gameplay! You can locate it on the main menu amongst other game modes, allowing you and up to three friends to embark on cooperative PvE missions. These adventures offer unique superpowers as you work together in an effort to conquer Daigo.

Superman Secret skin revealed

For this latest update, a new rendition of Superman’s secret skin in a “Pen & Ink” style has been unveiled, set to release on July 11th. This design evokes Superman’s classic comic book appearance with intricate shading reminiscent of traditional comic art styles. While it certainly looks striking, fans will have to exercise patience and wait for its availability.

Fortnite x Squid Game skins

As a gaming enthusiast, I’ve been eagerly waiting for this reveal, and it looks like the cat’s finally out of the bag! With this recent update, we’ve stumbled upon some tantalizing hints about Squid Game skins. Unfortunately, we don’t have an exact launch date just yet, but it seems they’ll drop sometime before the next update, which is roughly a few weeks away.

The skins feature iconic characters from the series in their signature green jumpsuits, along with the diverse enforcers who help manage the game, all dressed in their distinctive pink jackets. I can hardly wait to slip into these skins and immerse myself deeper into the Squid Game universe!

July 2025 Crew pack

Should you opt for Fortnite Crew subscription, you’ll receive a unique, fresh skin each month, and this month’s unveiled skin is the “Reboot Man”. This character will also come with additional reboot-themed items such as the van that can be spotted on every Fortnite map. It’s an exciting extra; however, it’s unfortunate that it will only be accessible through Crew subscription.

Battle Bus vehicle skin

Looking back now, it’s hard to believe this wasn’t included earlier, but the upcoming update brings the famous Battle Bus as a buyable skin for your cars. You can customize it just like most vehicles do, and if you own it in Fortnite, it will also be yours in Rocket League when you use the same Epic account.
