For the past fortnight, we’ve been in the middle of a month-long Fortnite season. However, there’s still a lot more Star Wars-themed content on its way over the next couple of weeks! As we approach the final two weeks, special items like Super Styles and hidden skins are being released with this update, allowing you to collect all your season rewards before the preparations for the live finale event kick off.
Here’s my take as a gamer:
Hey fellow Fortnite fans! The epic battle between Epic Games and Apple over Fortnite on iOS is still going strong, but that doesn’t mean we can’t enjoy the latest update while we wait for the servers to come back online. I’ll walk you through all the cool new features this update brings! Stay tuned!
Battle Pass Super Styles
In this update, you’ll gain access to the Super Themes for this specific season, which are the prizes you earn upon finishing the primary Battle Pass. This season is shorter, resulting in fewer rewards, so there are only two pages of Super Themes available now. One of the styles is a whimsical “Galactic Glow,” designed to enhance the skins from the Battle Pass.
New Fortnite Ballistic map
In this latest version, Fortnite’s Counter-Strike-like mode has received a significant upgrade, introducing a new map called Cinderwatch. At present, it’s only a skeleton, as the team is still working on adding details to it. However, you can already play it in both casual and ranked modes. Furthermore, in keeping with the Star Wars theme, the standard pistol will be temporarily replaced by the DL-44 Blaster until the end of the season.
General Grievous unlocked
This season’s exclusive character skin for General Grievous can be obtained now. Typically, these skins are earned by completing missions, but this time around, you simply need to accumulate experience points through gameplay, making it less challenging. Additionally, the introduction of this season brings with it a second variant of the skin – Warlord Grievous – providing a seldom-seen glimpse into Grievous’ past as a warlord of Kalee.
Jar Jar Binks & Mandolorian skins
As a die-hard Star Wars fan, I’m thrilled to share that in the coming weeks, Fortnite is set to introduce more iconic characters from my beloved galaxy! Hidden within the game’s code are two new skins, ready to grace the item shop soon. First on the list is none other than Jar Jar Binks, a character I hold dear to my heart. No further words can do justice to his charm. The second skin is versatile and exciting – it’s a customizable Mandalorian outfit! With this, you can switch up Mando’s armor style and color to your heart’s content, making each battle feel uniquely yours. I can hardly wait!
June 2025 Fortnite Crew skin leaked
This latest update provides us with a sneak peek at the costumes that Fortnite Crew members will receive in June. The new character, Ayla Winn, sports a straightforward design consisting of a pink-haired girl dressed in a purple and black bodysuit. Just like other Crew skins, the more you keep your subscription active beyond June, the greater number of unique styles you’ll unlock for this particular costume.
