Trigger warning: This article contains mentions of s*xual harassment and r*pe.

As a devoted admirer, I can’t help but share the news about my beloved Andrew Johnston, who graced Britain’s Got Talent in 2008. In a recent court case, he has been declared innocent of accusations involving the inappropriate restraint and sexual assault of two women during his Opera studies. The judge’s verdict left him in tears. Amidst these allegations, Andrew faced charges for two instances of rape and one of sexual assault. However, justice prevailed, and he was found not guilty, much to my relief and admiration.

Following the decision, Johnston expressed gratitude to the jury members and mentioned his relief at being able to put the entire ordeal in the past. In an interview with the media, the artist shared, “I’m just happy it’s done; it’s been quite taxing.

Johnston added, “For the past five years, I’ve been met with doubt, unable to respond, until recently when I finally got a chance to express myself. Fortunately, the right choice was made, and now I just yearn to return home and embrace my beloved pet.” When inquired about his future plans, Johnston simply said, “I want to reclaim my life.

During this time, it came to light at the Southern Crown Court that the singer allegedly discarded his condom during an intimate encounter with one of his accusers. The woman testified that Johnston had compelled her against her will, leaving her feeling fearful and immobilized. In her own words, “It was challenging for me. I felt paralyzed and rooted to the spot.” She further explained, “I felt ensnared and unable to escape. I felt trapped and anxious.

Following the occurrence, the affected individual disclosed that on a particular evening, she collided with Johnston, who then aggressively grabbed her shoulder, verbally assaulted her, and subsequently kissed another woman.

In the courtroom, prosecutor Maryam Sayed stated that the witness detailed her experience of feeling the defendant, Mr. Johnston’s hands around her neck repeatedly. Despite her attempts to remove his hands, she explained that he persisted in placing them back around her throat.

Andrew Johnston has persistently maintained that the women’s stories are fabrications or falsehoods.
