This Winter, 2025, watch as Studio Bind’s Flower And Asura, an exciting new coming-of-age anime, unfolds! The show will explore themes of voice and the journey of self-discovery among youth. Based on the tranquil island of Tonarijima, it tells the story of Hana Haruyama, a young girl with a burning love for storytelling.
In a compelling manner, Hana’s voice captivates listeners, which prompts Mizuki, the president of the broadcasting club at Sumomo Hill High School, to extend an invitation for her to join the club. As Hana embarks on this adventure, she discovers her passion for storytelling while encountering fresh obstacles and establishing profound bonds with fellow club members.
In Episode 1 of Flower and Asura, we’ll meet the main character, Hana, who developed a deep affection for the gifted storyteller Shura Saionji during her childhood. This admiration sparked her own interest in narration, leading her to pursue it. By the time she reached high school, Hana was sharing her storytelling talents with children in her local community by performing readings for them.
Following that reading, Mizuki, the head of the broadcasting club at Sumomo Hill High School, commends her voice and urges her to become a member. At first hesitant, Hana starts considering this potential life-altering chance as her passion for storytelling aligns with her professional goals.
Episode 1 of the anime series ‘Flower and Asura,’ titled ‘Hana and Mizuki,’ is set to debut across various Japanese television networks at 1:35 am JST on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. Given time zone differences, international viewers can catch it a day earlier on January 7, 2025. The episode will first be aired on Nippon TV, with subsequent broadcasts following on BS NTV, Chiba TV, Teledama/TV Saitama, and TVK.
Starting from now in Japan, you can watch “Flower And Asura” on various platforms such as Hulu, U-NEXT, and Anime Hōdai. From January 11th, more streaming options will be available. For international viewers in certain regions, the first episode of “Flower And Asura” is streamable on Hulu, Amazon Prime Video, and HIDIVE.
As a die-hard fan, I’m eagerly sharing the current release dates and timings for our beloved creation. Please note that these details might be adjusted at the whim of the creators, so keep an eye on updates!
